JOB SUMMARY
Works with multiple processes, including carbon fiber tube fabrication, vacuum bagging, matched tooling, press curing, CNC machining, and other proprietary processes.
Support production and collaborate with design engineering to resolve day-to-day technical manufacturing problems. Develop, manage, and refine manufacturing processes, tools, fixtures, and documentation to improve quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Analyze and refine manufacturing processes and documentation for product enhancements, modifications, and improved efficiency.
Develop fixturing, work instructions, and tooling to reduce defects and lower product costs.
Provide technical support to the factory and liaise between manufacturing and design engineering in resolving production issues.
Provide technical support to sales. Which may include labor, material, and pricing recommendations.
Work with engineering to develop new manufacturing processes for new products.
Work with a team to identify specifications, acquire, install, set up, and optimize new process tooling.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science (BS) in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree.
Seeking applicants with two or more years of experience.
