Axient Engineering is seeking a Sustainment Test and Evaluation Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

What you will do...

You will provide test and evaluation and terminal operations support of a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM

systems and infrastructure.

Skills you will need...

Required Skills:

•  Design, plan, coordinate, execute testing and provide terminal operations on theFamily of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T), Air Force Command PostTerminal (AFCPT), Time Distribution Subsystem Pre Processor (TDSPP),Milstar Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS), GroundMulti-band Terminal (GMT), Mission Planning Subsystem (MPSS), variousother systems, subsystems and MILSATCOM devices Provide engineering and technician-level support for each of the above systems,including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, and system-levelanomaly resolution Identify and isolate software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess systemmodifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technicalassessments to the client with regards to the modifications Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures,system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, andtest reports Travel: approximately 10%

Preferred Skills:

•  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, orequivalent technical discipline 3+ years of experience with DoD/USAF test processes and documentation 3+ years of experience with MILSATCOM systems, associated hardware, andtroubleshooting 3+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients andmanaging professional relationships Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment Must be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-joblearning/improvement Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) DoD SECRET Security Clearance
