A Truck Driver will drive, load, unload any van, pick-up truck, and straight truck, while utilizing various material handling devices/equipment as necessary to move, transport, and deliver non hazmat aerospace, defense material and equipment. Routes cover locations throughout the Raytheon El Segundo campus, but may also include other offsite locations, including, but not limited to, LAX, Fullerton, Pt. Mugu, China Lake, Palmdale, and Buena Park. A Truck Driver will begin and end each shift (same day) at the El Segundo campus. No long haul/interstate deliveries included.
*1st Shift – 6:30AM – 3:00PM – El Segundo, CA. This position is an onsite role. *
What you will do:
Truck driver duties may involve the use of dollies, fork-lifts, chains, straps, bars, and other material handling equipment as required.
Employee shall utilize handheld scanners in support of material movement tracking updates.
Driver shall coordinate with other personnel, including truck drivers, expeditors, and management in support of work activities and customer requirements.
Position may include incidental expediting delivery duties (from truck to lab) to ensure completion to schedule.
A Driver will regularly lift 25 pounds and push, pull pallet jacks and other material handling devices with higher weight capacity.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Valid Class B driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement.
Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts, manual pallet jacks, electrical pallet jacks, etc.
Experience in collaborating closely with teammates and responding to directives from logistics dispatchers or management to expedite or shift priorities.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods of time.
Experience or demonstrated capability to lift and carry 25 pounds independently in a work setting.
Ability to obtain certification for safe operation of material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, fork lifts and electric pallet jacks.
Experiential knowledge of securing loads within vehicles using chains, straps, bars, and other material handling equipment.

The hourly range for this role is $ 23.91 to $39.54. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union. Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
