Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join our dynamic team located in El Segundo, CA !

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

  • Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.

  • Assists with Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.

  • Assists with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (to include inventory, distribution and destruction).

  • Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.

  • Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs.

  • Performs Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses.

  • Assists in developing and conducting security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.

  • Assists in Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.

  • Assists in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

This position requires SCI eligibility.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Full Scope and/or Counter Intelligence (CI) polygraph.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Facility Security Officer (FSO), or Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)

  • 3+ years of experience with experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Industrial Security

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • CDSE, NSTI/SASSI or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or any other related security certifications

  • Working knowledge of DoD 5220.00-M (NISPOM Manual) and DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Willingness to work second shift, weekends and holidays if required

  • Experience with giving presentations and public speaking

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service related environment

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: USD $69,700 - $94,300
