[HOME HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE POSITION DESCRIPTION *[DESCRIPTION: [The Home Health Registered Nurse (HHRN) must be able to function independently and can work with patients of any age group. The HHRN is responsible for providing quality patient care. The HHRN is responsible for the total care of the patient. The HHRN is also responsible for coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals in regard to their home health patients. • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, Associate, Bachelor's degree) required.
• Master's degree or higher in Health Care Administration, Business, or other related field preferred.

• Currently licensed by the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas (required) to practice professional nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Meets all health and safety requirements deemed necessary for employment including but not limited to a negative Tuberculosis Screening-Skin Test/Chest X-ray.
• Current CPR.
