Experience: Minimum of two (2) years verifiable OTR / CDL / Local Driver experience is required for this position. Education: Not a factor Language:Bilingual (English and Spanish) is required to communicate with clients and staff. Driver's License:CDL Class A License to operate company vehicles and complete assigned job tasks Requirements: Must be able to sit and remain alert while working for a continuous period of up to 14 hours of driving Lift at least 50 lbs Enter and exit vehicle multiple times Must be 23 years of age older per insurance policies Must submit to a background check (MVR included) Must submit to a drug test Duties: - Drive Truck to destination in accordance w/Federal DOT Regulations - Hook/Unhook trailers from tractor - Maintain records for compliance w/ State and Federal regulations including drivers Electronic log/paper log, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other - Maintain open communications via ELD's for load instructions - Perform frequent climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight - Load/unload trailer, - Plan/schedule trips by reading and understanding maps, calculate distance, wights, hours, and measures of loads, Inspect equipment, tires, lights, brakes, fuel oil and water - Safe and legal operation of a commercial motor vehicle - Safe and timely Transportation of freight - Accurate count of products on and off trailer (if applicable) - Proper handling and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork related to truck operations and freight movements - Professional representation Shift: Local Monday Friday 6:00 am -6:00 pm OTR -- 5 days out 2 days home 3000 -3300 miles or fewer offered * Team Drivers offered as well *
