Experience: 35 years Education: High School diploma / GED-as per employer policy Driver's License: Valid TX driver's license - road testing Requirements: ASE Certified is a plus Must be able to remain on your feet most of the day, crouching, bending, and lifting on occasion Knowledgeable in Automotive emissions control systems able to trouble shoot, diagnose and make all minor and major repairs to automotive systems. Duties: Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gages, and computerized diagnostic devices. Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions. Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes. Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas. Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements. Pay will be based on experience
