CUTTERS-Cutters will cut the watermelon, lift it, and hand it off to the pitcher. PITCHERS Pitchers will carry the watermelon and hand it off to the packers. PACKERS-Packers will take the watermelon and pack it into a bin on the truck in the field.
Workers are required to have one month of watermelon harvesting experience. Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs and be exposed to repetitive movements, bending and stooping for long periods, extensive walking, and extreme temperatures.
