For our country sales team in Switzerland, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (f/m/d) in the segment of UPS (uninterruptible power supplies). As Key Account Manager your mission is to establish Eaton as a market leader in this segment in Switzerland by managing Eaton’s reputation and sales in complex, multiproduct projects (hospitals, banks, insurances, etc.) The primary goal of this role is to implement the national account strategy across Switzerland (mainly German speaking Switzerland) to drive sustainable increased sales, market share and customer satisfaction in the dedicated segment.
Your responsibilities:
Develop a strong sales pipeline, aiming to achieve our annual sales and financial targets. Selling the services and managing new projects
Maintaining long-term relationships with the customers in UPS and services
Work closely with our sales, marketing teams and operational units to maintain our thorough competitive go to market approach
Supporting the customers from acquisition through negotiations to contract conclusion
Developing innovative and advanced solutions for our customers.
Maintaining long-term relationships with our customers
Commercialize sustainable modernizations or maintenance to help customers optimize the service life of their systems
Optimizing our up- & cross-selling product portfolio while emphasizing the value selling
Qualifications:
Technician/Engineering in the field of electrical or energy engineering or similar (e.g. state-certified technician, Bachelor or Master)
Field sales experience ideally in the battery and/or UPS environment
Skills
A good technical understanding and sales experience of complex products and services
Knowledge in the areas of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), IT and digitalization is an advantage.
Good user knowledge of MS Office products and CRM systems
Passion & joy in technically demanding sales
Professional and convincing handling incl. strong communication and motivational skills
Fluent in German, English and French is a plus.
Driving license
