Job Title: Warehouse Driver / Warehouse Support
Job Summary: We are seeking a warehouse driver out of our Edison, NJ location to make deliveries to construction project sites within New Jersey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing safe, timely, & productive deliveries to and from jobsites.
Loads delivery vehicles for the purpose of ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured.
Unloads items for the purpose of distributing shipment to assigned site locations and/or individuals.
Load and unload materials and equipment using warehouse lift equipment, organize and store materials and equipment within the Warehouse, as well as keep all storage areas clean and tidy.
Assist and support with various duties within the Warehouse area as assigned.
A valid driver’s license is required.
CDL Class B will be required.
Good driving record / history.
Minimum 3 years driving experience with forklifts, single axle truck and small box trucks.
Knowledge of the commercial construction industry or electrical supply house is preferred.
Ability to complete required paperwork.
Maintain vehicle(s) (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle(s).
Basic computer skills.
Good communication skills.
Regular, predictable and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
