Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage and oversee construction projects ranging from multiple medium projects to large, multiple-contract projects of moderate to high complexity. You will be accountable for all construction management activities on assigned projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Your role will involve interpreting plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and field personnel, providing internal consultation, and acting as a technical resource within the division. You will also develop new business opportunities through proposals and general contact with current and potential clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

  • Interpret plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and field personnel.

  • Provide internal consultation to construction representatives and act as a technical resource within the division.

  • Develop new business opportunities through proposals and contact with current and potential clients.

  • Contribute to the administration and operation of the construction services group as required.

  • Supervise and coordinate all shop drawing activities.

  • Review government regulations to provide consultation services that reflect up-to-date legal requirements.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of construction experience.

  • Experience in field construction, change order management, and project coordination.

  • Experience in utility or heavy civil construction.

  • Ability to be on-site 5 days a week for substation projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with substation and transmission projects.

  • Strong technical and consultation skills.

  • Ability to develop new business opportunities.

Work Environment

This role requires you to be on-site at substation and transmission projects throughout the North East, working 5 days a week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00
