Our Asset Advisory Team is growing rapidly and has a track record of successful project delivery across the Water, Energy and Infrastructure sectors. We support our clients to help them drive performance and realise financial and social value through their assets management capability.

We achieve this by working with clients in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, resilient, sustainable, and innovative solutions to their performance issues. We work with client teams and stakeholders to unlock hidden data and provide insight into the performance of their asset base, helping them to work more effectively and make systems based, informed and timely decisions.

Our continued success in supporting many of the UK’s main utility providers and major infrastructure developers, brings significant growth across the group. As a result, we are looking to appoint a Senior Consultant to join our existing teams. This role could be based from either our Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London or Reading offices, with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home- and in-office working.

As a Senior Consultant within the Asset Advisory Team you will work alongside industry leaders and help to mentor and guide more junior colleagues. You will become a key part of our Asset Advisory team and an important point of contact for our clients. As such, you will have a pivotal role in growing the capability within the Regulation, Economics and Assurance team. You will support the Technical Director of Regulation, Economics and Assurance with providing consultancy to clients, work winning activities and growing the teams capability.

An important part of your role will be to identify wider improvement opportunities for clients to reduce risk and/or improve their effectiveness and efficiency. You will also build internal and external relationships to influence client’s strategic thinking and raise the profile of our Asset Advisory group, with the overall aim of building and growing the Stantec business.

About Yo u

In order to be successful within this role you will need to have experience in asset management with a focus on Regulation, Risk and Assurance. Ideally you will have experience working for, or with, major utility companies (Water or Energy) or have worked at a regulator within the UK.

You will be a strategic thinker, thought leader with excellent analytical, conceptual, and a proven track recorded of working in a highly regulatory environment collaborative.

You will be comfortable working collaboratively to develop asset management strategies that will deliver value for our clients. You will be a strategic thinker and have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
