Customer Care Specialist

Location:    Edinboro

Starting salary: $ 31,000-$32,000

Position Description:

The Customer Care Specialist serves as the first point of contact and provides high quality customer service to internal and external customers.

The essential functions of the position include:

  • Support functions of a multi-channel customer contact center to include answering incoming calls, managing and responding appropriately to inquiries while problem solving, and providing solutions to customers via phone, email and in-person
  • Provide high quality customer service in a customer friendly, efficient manner yielding overall customer satisfaction
  • Maintain customer relationship management by entering information quickly and accurately
  • Perform a variety of administrative services that may include typing, filing, making copies, office supply and mail distribution
  • Provide support to other departments as needed such as processing membership renewals and assist with and support the product program initiatives
  • Serve as the primary back up to the retail shop, as needed
  • This position is office based, generally M-TH 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with a remote Friday of 9:00 AM-noon

     

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Top notch communicator -- writes will and communicates in a clear and understandable manner
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook and willingness and ability to learn new systems
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus, but training is provided
  • Ability to perform basic office skills to include record keeping, report preparation, filing and records management
  • Must be organized, detail orientated, and customer focused
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability and willingness to work and maintain a flexible schedule
