Broadridge BPO provides securities brokerage and dealership services to our end clients with back-office functions such as Corporate Action Processing.We are looking for an experienced Voluntary Reorg Junior Associate to join our Corporate Action's team where you will have the opportunity to work with one our high-profile clients while growing within the organization.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities
Process Voluntary events including tenders, exchanges, Rights, Warrants, subscriptions, record date conversions etc.
Provide exceptional client service to our outsourcing clients
Monitor deadlines and critical cut-offs to ensure instructions are processed accordingly
Demonstrate the ability to identify potential risk scenarios and controls to minimize operational risk
Communicate effectively and efficiently across departments, with staff, senior management and clients
Qualifications
Candidate should possess a minimum of 1-2 years voluntary corporate actions processing experience with a detailed understanding of the process front to back
Strong demonstration of knowledge around Voluntary reorg events including Tenders, Exchanges, Conversions, Warrant and Rights Exercises, Dutch Auctions, SPAC Redemptions, etc...
Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues, as well as achieve deadlines and be able to work effectively as part of a team
Forward-thinking with keen attention to detail/deadlines in a dynamic risk oriented environment, and the ability to lead a team
Ability to provide support in the daily execution of key tasks when needed
Customer service competency required, with good written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience using DTC as well Non-US depositories such as Euroclear and Clearstream
Knowledge of using BPS/Shadow/ADP and IMPACT is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $30 - $36 per hour depending on experience
Bonus Eligibility: Annual bonus
Paid Time off: 15 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 3 personal days per year
