Description Join our world-class Supply Chain team to get exposure to the world of Global Supply Chain and participate in a variety of projects while working full-time in the summer. Project Details: Work independently and collaboratively with the Supply chain team on projects to drive continuous improvement Prepare and gather data for Business Reviews with Key Suppliers Analyze and measure key metrics for Supply Chain Department Monitor Purchase Order on time delivery through receipt dates and update accordingly on reschedules Assess supplier strength and analyze risk of critical components to determine potential RFx opportunities Perform necessary system analysis, data management, and system testing with collaboration from various departments to refine the MRP system Manage a supply chain project or portion of a project through completion during the internship Shared Intern Projects: Organize company-wide fun social activity. Present project work, experiences, and learnings during final week of internship Qualifications: Enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in supply chain management, or other technical discipline Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.0 or above) Able to commit to the full internship working 40 hours per week Preferred: Relevant technical course work or research experience relating to internship Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and others) Experience using software like ERP, preferably SAP Pay Range: $19-$20 At PTI, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
