Are you ready to take center stage as a Special Events Executive Producer who brings magic to life? We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced maestro of events who can lead our video production team and studio team through a wide range of exciting and captivating productions. From live (and as-live) in-studio events to remote virtual events, and live on-location extravaganzas, this is your chance to orchestrate unforgettable experiences.

As our Special Events Executive Producer, you will be the conductor of coordination, planning, and execution. Your expertise in seamlessly producing and delivering high-quality content and audience experiences will be the key to our success. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute all aspects of special events, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of live in-studio events, as-live studio events, remote virtual events, and live on-location events

  • Manage and mentor a team of creative professionals, including showrunners, associate producers, creative directors, editors, motion graphic artists, and other production staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment

  • Develop and implement production strategies, workflows, and best practices that optimize efficiency, quality, and creativity in video production

  • Collaborate with top executives and stakeholders to understand business objectives, communication needs, and audience requirements, translating them into effective video content strategies

  • Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial and brand guidelines

  • Coordinate with video production and other creative teams to create engaging and high-quality live and pre-taped video content

  • Oversee set design and ensure that all elements are visually appealing and aligned with the event's goals

  • Source and manage talent, including presenters, performers, and special guests

  • Develop detailed event production schedules, including timelines, deadlines, and milestones

  • Creates run of show, keeping the program/event on time with the ability to make required instantaneous decisions

  • Assist in coordination of logistics, including venue selection, equipment rental, transportation, and accommodations

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during event planning and execution

  • Manage event staff, including production crews, technical teams, and support staff

  • Step in as needed to assist in all aspects of production: floor crew, script writing, interviewing, teleprompting, etc.

  • Evaluate event success and gather feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement

  • Use Adobe Workfront to manage projects and report status

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in video production, with a focus on live broadcasting and executive-level interface

  • Proven experience in producing live in-studio events, as-live studio events, remote virtual events, and live on-location events

  • Proficient knowledge of live and pre-taped video production techniques and equipment

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations for event planning and execution

  • Proficient in event management software and tools

  • Proven excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proven detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage tight deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven ability to develop a comprehensive run of show and adapt quickly and professionally when situations change

  • Current or upon hire residence within a commutable distance to Eden Prairie, MN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and sound editing

  • Familiarity with set design principles and ability to create visually appealing event environments

  • Proven creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to events

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
