JOB TITLE: Software Engineering Manager
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle Eden Prairie, MN 55344
DUTIES: Develop highly-scalable applications for the AWS/HCC cloud by building Microservices; Define and implement technical solutions to meet business needs through Agile process; Foster high-performance, collaborative technical work resulting in high-quality output; Gather and analyze data to aide in informed decision-making while providing detailed, realistic estimates; Interact skillfully with business stakeholders and third-party technical organizations; Proactively automate infrastructure, application and services to enable an automated delivery through the CI/CD pipelines to the cloud; Manage software engineers workload, set expectations, conduct performance appraisals, provide training. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering manager-related occupation. Position 7 years of experience in the following:
• software engineering with Java
• DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins)
• building and deploying applications to the HCC/OCP cloud
• working in an Agile environment
• modern programming languages, systems, and architectures
• Selenium Automation with java, Cucumber, Junit
• Splunk and NewRelic.
RATE OF PAY: $135,200 - $182,359/ Year
