A well-established landscaping company in the Eden Prairie area is hiring candidates with a range of landscape experience. In this landscaping technician role, you will be responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a business or building. Location: Eden Prairie, MN Hours: 7:30 am 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday Weekends are required when needed with overtime pay! Wage: $18 - $26/hr. Benefits of the landscaping technician: Health Dental Vision Life STD Non-work accident Insurance is available after 90 days Duties of the landscaping technician: Perform groundskeeping and building maintenance duties Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others Sweep the walkway of debris Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger Trim shrubs and pull weeds Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping Install lawn furniture Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds Install rock, cement, lighting, water, and furniture Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer Requirements of the landscaping technician: Experience in operating landscaping equipment Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination Proven experience in landscaping is a plus Knowledge of mixing and pouring landscaping is a plus Additional information: Apply today!
