ITW Electrical Engineering Intern in Eden Prairie, Minnesota
Job Description:
We are looking for a Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Ground Road Vehicle team for the summer of 2025. This engineering internship role immerses the candidate into a collaborative team environment focused on the design and build of state-of-the-art durability and performance test systems for our automotive customers.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to engineering design, development, analysis, and support activities on new and existing MTS products.
EE interns are typically challenged with shorter duration engineering projects that provide a learning experience for the student. Past projects focused on new design or updates to existing products in a development, troubleshooting or continuation engineering environment. Direction, training and mentorship will be provided to reach successful outcomes.

This full-time, paid internship is located on-site in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with a manager and mentor to complete a project from start to finish during the summer. Plus, with flexible start and end dates, you can tailor the experience to your schedule.
Throughout the program, you'll have opportunities to attend networking events, both within MTS and across ITW’s divisions in Minnesota. You’ll also enjoy personal and professional development sessions, plus fun activities like baseball games, happy hours, and summer sports leagues.

Qualifications
Rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related degree
3.0 GPA or above.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Eager to learn, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Leadership and teamwork capabilities required (extracurricular, academic, etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Must be able to work onsite at our Eden Prairie, MN location.
Previous relevant internship experience preferred.
