Job Type:Regular Invest in you, JOIN AGROPUR. We dairy you! The Director Sales is responsible for leading sales initiatives within his geographic area. This position entails developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Key responsibilities include overseeing the sales team, setting and monitoring sales goals, and building strong relationships with key clients. The role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, the ability to analyze sales statistics, and the skill to lead and motivate a team. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to travel as needed to meet business demands. Collaborating with fellow regional directors, the Director Sales will help craft comprehensive key account strategies. This position also serves as a crucial intermediary with the Commercial Strategy, Marketing, and Innovation group to optimize the placement of our product range across various markets. Develop and implement strategic sales plans in alignment with company objectives. Serve as a key member of the commercial leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy. Direct the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations. Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting. Collaborate with corporate strategy, marketing, and product development departments to ensure brand consistency. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports. Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads. Act as a spokesperson for the company in your region. Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and excellence. What you need to join our team Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required. Master's Degree in Business Administration or other advanced degree or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Minimum six (6) years of experience in a sales position within the Food Industry required. Minimum three (3) years of Management or Supervisory experience required. Previous experience in Key Account Management preferred. Knowledge of the overall International/US powder market and International/US dairy industry preferred. Proven experience in sales, with a minimum of five (5) years in a senior sales role, preferably in the same industry or related fields required.
