Genesis10 is seeking a Data Engineer (Care Data Quality) for a contract with our client in Eden Prairie, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: The Data Engineer will create Data Quality as a Service (DQaaS) jobs for new raw data sources or markets. This position requires a full understanding of healthcare data (e.g. membership, claims, clinical and provider data). The Data Engineer will demonstrate advanced coding, data extract, transformation and data loading. This role will work closely with the data architect, data modeler, data analysts and other project team members to understand requirements regarding ETL design flows, data integration and data reporting. They will collaborate on technical issues, troubleshooting blockages, development issues, and maintenance of standards and processes within the team members and cross functionally as and when required. Key Responsibilities: Develop efficient and high performing ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter (Designer, Monitor, Repository Manager & Active Batch Workflow manager). Has understanding of LINUX job creation, troubleshooting and monitoring to support Alation Data Catalogue intiative Design, develop, test and performance tune complex mappings, transforms, aggregations, joins, enrichment, validations for target data underpinnings. Participate in design review sessions and peer ETL reviews. Assess and profile source and target data (data structure, quality, completeness, schema, nulls, etc.) and requested business use cases. Summarizes testing and validation results and is able to communicate and make recommendations/decisions on the best course of action to remediate. Resourceful at coming up with solutions using existing or available resources based on knowledge of the organization and level of execution effort. Participate in agile work environment, attending daily scrum meetings and completing sprint deliverables on time. Supports practices, policies and operating procedures and ensures alignment to departmental objectives and strategy. Is able to calm tense situations by bringing clarity and organization to the forefront. Ensures each level of the organization has the information needed and the context needed to produce favorable results. Builds strong relationship with IT operational leaders to ensure connectivity to the business. Supports a work environment in which people are able to perform to the best of their abilities. Holds self accountable for technical abilities, productive results and leadership attributes.Understanding of Practice mangement data flow, provider data systems is preffered Required Basic Qualifications: Job Conditions: Job requires hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during times of peak activity. Moderate to high job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting and sometimes changing deadlines. Specific Job Skills and Experience: 5+ years experience in designing and developing ETL solutions. 5+ years experience using Informatica PowerCenter. 3+ years working knowledge in a Data Warehouse/BI environment. 3+ years experience using Microsoft TSQL, SSIS, and SSAS 2 + years experience using LINUX 2 + years of experience with Azure , Databricks and /or Snowflakes Strong RDBMS experience; Oracle PL/SQL & SQL Server. Strong SQL skills including complex SQL constructs, DDL generation. Windows batch PowerShell scripting and/or UNIX shell scripting experience. Demonstrated excellent organizational, analytical, writing, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $50.00-$58.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
