Job Title: 3rd Mixer Production Technician II
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 3rd Mixer Production Technician II to join our team. As a Level 2 Mixer, you will receive initial and ongoing training across various processing rooms, including 6-pass, 1-pass, Dry Room, and Corn Room. Your role involves correctly and accurately assembling all ingredients, following step-by-step instructions on blending sheets, and maintaining a culture of food safety in production and warehousing. You will also be responsible for consistent and accurate documentation, operating various equipment, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet sight standards.
Hard Skills
Utilizing and calibrating scales
Stacking boxes for palletizing
Reading and understanding product codes and lot numbers
Operating equipment such as belts, Swecos, Comils, and metal detectors
Performing CCP checks and documenting non-compliance issues
Conducting quality checks
Stand-up forklift operation certification
Mastering sanitization processes, including cleaning, breaking down, and reassembling equipment
Soft Skills
Attention to detail
Consistent practice of food safety and sanitation
General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workspace
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chaska, Minnesota.
Work Environment
You will work in a clean, spacious facility with exposure to noise, heat, changes in temperature and humidity, and airborne dust particles.
