Reference #: 5001090759406 Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Gas Engine Production Supervisor.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act to eliminate/reduce risk of safety hazards in the work areas
• Effectively manage the production environment, assembly area, and team members to meet production schedules in a cost-effective, quality, high-velocity manner
• Utilize resources, people, material, machines to achieve cost, quality, and inventory management targets
• Monitors compliance with standard work, documented procedures, & best practices to ensure a safe and defect free production environment
• Drives root cause corrective action
• Leads status reporting, monitors, audits metrics and reports.
• Collaborates with team members in the creation, implementation, and training of standard work procedures
• Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work
• Ensure production areas are clean and set in an orderly condition
• Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Effectively communicates with the customer to finalize scope of work and provide timely updates on work order status

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a Manufacturing-related discipline
• 3 years in a supervisory function in a production environment, is required
• Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Good communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers
