EDUSTAFF Substitute Teacher in EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Perform a variety of duties in assisting a licensed teacher in the implementation and support of instructional programs for students in group or one-on-one settings. - Prepare instructional materials, maintain classroom discipline, and lead planned activities designated by a licensed teacher. - Help develop and maintain a positive school-wide learning environment. - Follow lesson plans designed by absent teachers. - Enforce school and class rules to maintain order in the classroom. - Distribute teaching materials, such as textbooks, workbooks, papers, and pencils, to students. - Distribute or collect tests or homework assignments. - Operate equipment such as computers or audio-visual aids to supplement presentations. - Supervise students during activities outside the classroom, such as recess, lunch, and field trips. - Provide disabled students with assistive devices, supportive technology, or assistance accessing facilities, such as restrooms. - Teach a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, and social studies. - Teach social skills to students, such as communication, conflict resolution, and etiquette. - Tutor or assist students individually or in small groups. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify to be a substitute teacher in the State of Wisconsin, you must: - Must hold an Associate Degree or higher and hold a valid WI Teaching or Substitute License with the WI Department of Public Instruction.
