STUDENT TRANSIT- EAU CLAIRE INC School Bus Monitor in EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Work 178 days of the year (when school is in session). Assist disabled children or children with psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues with boarding and exiting the school bus. Buckle seatbelts or fasten wheelchair tie-down straps to secure passengers for transportation. Direct students boarding and exiting the school bus. Monitor the conduct of students to maintain discipline and safety. Operate a wheelchair lift to load or unload wheelchairs. Respond to students\' questions, requests, or complaints. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Under general supervision, school bus monitors assist with passengers to ride safely between assigned stops and schools according to specified routes and time schedules. They may also assist students on field trips and outings.
