Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Security Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and reporting security risks. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the information security controls support effective protection of the corporation’s team member and customer information.

This position requires a highly motivated, team-oriented person with strong communication skills. Relocation to Eau Claire, WI required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Vulnerability Management

  • Assist with configuration of vulnerability assessment scans and review of detections.

  • Work closely with other IS teams, championing appropriate remediation efforts.

  • Monitor the external environment for emerging threats and communicate relevant information and recommendations to other IS teams.

  • Security Operations

  • Collaborate on development of reports and dashboards to identify anomalous activity.

  • Investigate alerts and perform root cause analysis to determine appropriate response.

  • Work together with other IS teams to support successful implementation of new security controls.

  • Strategy and Guidance

  • Provide strategic risk assessments for projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.

  • Develop, and maintain information security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.

  • Actively participate in Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other assessments, coordinating communication between assessors and internal IS staff.

  • Maintain documentation related to compliance engagements.

Skills/Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills for root-cause determination and resolution.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.

  • Must work within designated normal office hours assigned or required by work.

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
