Overview:
We are looking for a high-energy bartender to provide raving fan moments for our patrons. The bartender's purpose is to create a warm, welcoming, and memorable atmosphere for our guests. He or She should have expansive knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor and a passion for serving others. The bartender should adhere to alcohol safety guidelines and food service safety standards. The bartender must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
Interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks.
Ability to multi-task by taking care of both bar guests and service tickets in a timely manner
Assess guest's needs and preferences and make recommendations and answer all related inquiries.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
Upsell call and top shelf liquor brands.
Complete a beer bottle inventory at the start and close of each shift.
Balance the cash drawer at the start and close of each shift.
Check guest's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Anything else needed or asked upon.
What Does a Qualified Candidate Look Like?
Proficient in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Ability to operate a POS terminal
Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal alcohol laws
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar, organized, stocked and clean
Working knowledge of standard cocktail recipes
Ability to reach, bend and frequently lift up to 30 pounds
Full weekend availability
