Position Summary

Our Tube Fitting Division in Eaton, Ohio is looking to add team members in our Assembly department to help keep the world moving. You will use your hands and machines to build Parker products in a safe and sustainable manner. You must have good technical knowledge and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The goal is to produce complex fittings by putting together smaller components.

Starting at $16/hr. plus $1/hr. shift premium for 2nd shift

Aspects of Your Work

• Employee places fittings on proper racks for hoist line by performing the following duties.

• Removes fittings from containers and places fittings/parts to/from designated plating racks per standard work instruction.

• Must follow written standard work procedures including all safety and 5S procedures.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is regularly required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and or caustic chemicals. Safety glasses and safety shoes required.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, and individual should have knowledge of Database software and Inventory software.
