The Town of Easton Customer Service Specialist in Easton, Maryland

The Customer Service Specialist. Assists in all aspects of accounts receivable, parking permit issuance, receipting for town taxes and services, answering phone, balancing cash draw, processing mail payments, assisting walk in customers. Work is performed independently within established policies and procedures. This position reports to the Finance Officer.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Internet, Fax machine, copier, printers, scanner and telephone.
  • Ability to handle administrative details and routine day-to-day issues independently.
  • Answer customer inquiries correctly in a professional manner.
  • Strong organizational, clerical and computer skills.
  • Three (3) Plus years of experience in handling monetary transactions.
