Job Description Role Overview Visa is seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Sr. Technical Product Manager within VAS Product Development. VAS Product Development drives the diversification of our revenue with products that differentiate our network and deliver valuable solutions across other rails. We are seeking a Sr. Technical Product Manager who is a self-starter, ready to learn and experiment, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise to navigate both business and technology requirements, be comfortable operating in ambiguous situations, and assist in prioritizing delivery in line with product strategy. They should also have the ability to catalyze change and enhance efficiency within the overall delivery process. Essential Functions: Drive the vision and direction of the product portfolio, setting clear and deliverable goals. Develop and implement robust product strategies that align with company objectives and market trends. Set clear expectations with business partners to provide transparency into project initiation activities, and manage day-to-day interaction during project execution and delivery Perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines. Facilitate collaboration across engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure product development is aligned with customer needs and business goals. Set clear expectations with business partners to provide transparency into project initiation activities, and manage day-to-day interaction during project execution and delivery Perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines Employ data-driven decision making to prioritize product features, enhancements and improvements. Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation, research, design, development, testing, launch to post-launch evaluation. Foster an environment of innovation, encouraging the team to bring forward new ideas and solution Act as a key liaison between the product team, executive leadership, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Implement best practices in technical product management and instill these practices within the team. Regularly engage with customers and key stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their needs and ensure product-market fit. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.
