The Camp Director manages overall operations of Army Lake Camp to maintain a level of operational and service excellence and ensures an environment in which effective mission of The Salvation Army can be fulfilled. About the role: Consult with the Camp Administrator to establish goals for the camp, including \"action\" steps toward realization of those Ensure any financial aspects of goals are included in working budget. Stays current with local, state, and federal laws and regulations applicable to camp to ensure Army Lake Camp (hereafter ALC) remains in compliance, ensuring property and operations are always ready for applicable agency Ensure ALC meets all up to date membership requirements for certification with the American Camping Association, and that all marketing materials, contracts, and other guest services materials meet the standards set by the ACA and all local, state and federal regulations. Reviews crisis and risk management plans and procedures on an annual basis, updating as Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the work performance of the ALC year-round staff and summer seasonal (non-program) staff.
