job summary:
We are searching for a Maintenance Technician in the St. Louis area to work for a chemical manufacturing client. Candidates should have 3+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
This is a 3rd shift direct hire role with great benefits.

responsibilities:
Operates and observes equipment for the purpose of trouble shooting problems and testing performance of equipment.
Reads work orders and sees that jobs are performed per work order. Asks questions if work order is not clear.
Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Repairs equipment rebuilds equipment and adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Installs equipment, devices, and instruments.
Performs preventative maintenance such as lubricating equipment, changing filters, inspecting parts for wear and cleaning equipment. Logs preventative maintenance activity in preventative maintenance program records.
