Performs custodial duties and assignments in a school building setting Work includes using chemicals and agents to clean and disinfect bathrooms, classrooms and offices. Works with a team or individually to complete cleaning area assignments under the direction of the Custodial Lead. Works safely and is able to use personal protective equipment to perform tasks. The building custodian will be asked to work night shifts at various buildings and must be able to easily adapt to each unique team environment. Candidates must possess the following: High school diploma or equivalent Current/valid MA Driver\'s License Knowledge of various cleaning methods Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment Ability to perform all functions of the job requiring independent judgment, decision-making and problem solving Ability to work with computers/technology, comfortable in confined spaces, work in various weather conditions, comfortable traversing across campus Must have the physical mobility and stamina to perform all duties required Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check
