Position: Janitorial Supervisor
Location: EPA Region 10 Lab -- Port Orchard, WA
Position Status: Full Time 40 hours per week; Mon to Fri 6:00 pm -- 2 am
Position start date: November 1^st,^ 2024
Pay: $20.93 per hour plus $4.93 per hour for Health and Welfare = $25.89

Under the owner's supervision, the janitorial supervisor will perform various assigned tasks, using only approved chemicals and equipment to ensure contract quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required
- Complete assigned tasks according to contract quality requirements; including but not limited to:
¦ Clean lavatories, showers and restrooms
¦ Dusting equipment, furniture and fixtures
¦ Polish metal fixtures and trimmings
¦ Sweeping, mopping and scrubbing
¦ Stripping and polishing floors using floor scrubber and buffer.
¦ Monitor, order, and maintain all janitorial supplies
¦ Provide minor maintenance services
¦ Inventory of supplies and placing orders with the main office
¦ Quality control, and employee oversight (reporting, ensuring tasks are completely timely and effective).
¦ Abide by all safety standards when operating cleaning equipment and using chemicals.
Successful candidates must possess all of the following required qualifications:
- 3 years required minimal experience as a janitorial supervisor for commercial cleaning services.
- 1 year required minimal experience utilizing floor scrubber and buffing equipment.
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to read material safety data sheets and follow safety instructions.
- Finalist candidates must satisfactorily pass the EPA pre-employment background check for badging.
