Arden's Garden Internal Retail Logistics Coordinator in East Point, Georgia
Join our fast-growing team at Arden's Garden, where we're seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Internal Retail Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Internal Retail Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for direct communication with the retail division, soliciting orders, order input for delivery, organizing fulfillment activities for order completion, coordinating will-calls and deliveries, and providing comprehensive support to the retail division. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the retail division, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
Proactively solicit orders from the retail division based on inventory needs and sales forecasts.
Accurately input orders into the logistics system for processing and delivery scheduling.
Monitor order status and update the system as necessary to reflect changes or updates.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate pulling of products for retail orders.
Oversee the order fulfillment process to ensure all items are correctly picked and packed.
Schedule and organize will-call pickups for retail orders.
Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure on-time and accurate delivery to retail locations.
Communicate delivery details and any changes to the retail division.
Address and resolve any logistical issues or concerns raised by the retail division.
Offer assistance and support to retail staff to ensure their logistical needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with the retail division to improve logistical processes and enhance efficiency.
Participate in logistics meetings and training sessions as required.
Oversee the route drivers route printing and paperwork submission
Requirements:
Proven experience in logistics coordination, retail logistics, or a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
