Job Title: Production Support (East Moline)

Job Description

We are seeking 4 production team members for our East Moline, IL location. The warehouse worker will be responsible for completing assigned jobs, tasks, and projects throughout the warehouse. Departments may include the assembly cell, saw operator, receiving, shipping, and work orders. The primary responsibility involves pulling copper tubing/pipe for shipments to customers such as Menards, Lowes, and Home Depot. The wire must be covered with protective tubing and safely boxed for shipping.

Responsibilities

• Move pipe to pick locations

• Pull customer orders

• Bar code and/or label pipe

• Bundle and wrap pipe

• Cut pipe according to cut sheets

• Segregate and identify scrap

• Wrap product for shipment

• Unload trucks when necessary

• Load outbound shipments

Why Work Here?

Enjoy 1st shift hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the company even with minimal warehouse experience. Once you are trained and cross-trained (typically 1-3 weeks, depending on the individual), you become eligible for a production incentive: $2.00/hour for Tier 1 and $3.00/hour for Tier 2.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, which means it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter months. The noise level is usually quiet but can be moderate to loud depending on specific department activities and the use of tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
