Michigan State University(MSU) Instructor-Fixed Term in East Lansing, Michigan

Position Summary

The Center for Gender in Global Context (GenCen) at Michigan State University is seeking candidates for a fixed-term (non-tenure stream) faculty position to teach one or more courses in Women's and Gender Studies for the spring 2023 semester. Primary responsibilities will be teaching in-person on the East Lansing campus.

The course for which candidates are sought are WS 201 -- Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies. The GenCen is looking to fill two sections of WS 201, one scheduled to meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:40-2:00pm and the other Mondays and Wednesdays 10:20-11:40am. The compensation is $7,500 per course.

Masters -Women's and Gender Studies

Desired Degree

Doctorate -Women's and Gender Studies or related

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. or Masters degree with some background in Women's and Gender Studies One year experience teaching online courses
