Our two-year, rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) provides challenging opportunities via short-term work assignments across the enterprise as you move to locations around the U.S.A.

First rotation will support Pratt and Whitney Engine Design and Systems Integration (EDSI) as a Systems Engineer with interest in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), to support next generation propulsion programs.
The candidate will be responsible for the development of system models for one or more engine programs.
Candidate will also be involved in Pratt & Whitney’s digital transformation initiatives and be a contributor to standard work development.
Candidate responsibilities will be commensurate with their background, experience, and education.
What You Will Do
Stretch your capabilities and enhance learning with frontline, hands-on assignments
Relocate to different RTX cities/states while in program to broaden your exposure to the business and further develop your leadership and functional skills and business acumen
Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools in order to perform systems engineering tasks including:
Deriving and analyzing requirements, defining system logical and physical architectures, defining interfaces
Interface with team leads, team members, and other teams (Software and Hardware) on a daily basis and provide task progress status updates
Participate in customer and/or internal technical reviews throughout the product lifecycle
Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices and comply with EDSI standard processes
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Systems Engineering, or Hard Sciences: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Computer Science, or other related discipline; degree must be obtained between December 2024 - May 30, 2025
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
Cumulative 3.0 GPA
Qualifications We Prefer
Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
Experience with systems engineering principles, concepts, and techniques
Experience using a SysML modeling tool, such as IBM Rhapsody ®, Cameo/MagicDraw ®, or equivalent
Experience with Agile development processes

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
