We are looking for a dedicated Technologist to join our team. This role involves maintaining a safe, healthy, and professional work environment by reviewing medical images for proper identification and quality control. The ideal candidate will also perform Medical Assistant duties such as recording vital signs, patient history, and managing electronic medical records (EMR).
Responsibilities
Maintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environment.
Review medical images for proper identification and quality control.
Perform Medical Assistant duties including recording vital signs and patient history.
Manage electronic medical records (EMR).
Record patient interviews and histories.
Maintain supplies, equipment, and sterilize instruments.
Triage patient phone calls and review prescriptions with patients as directed by the physician.
Provide front and back office support including scheduling appointments and administrative tasks.
Essential Skills
Medical assisting
Triage
ARRT certification
NJ State License
Front and back office experience as a medical assistant
Experience with electronic health records
Administrative support
Data entry
Answering phones
Epic EMR experience
Radiation safety
X-ray and radiology experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Advanced MD experience
Experience with both front and back office duties
Good customer service skills
Work Environment
The Technologist will spend 95% of their time in Freehold and will need to float to Monroe 1-2 times a month as needed. This will be scheduled out 2-3 weeks in advance. The role is based in an urgent care setting, requiring good customer service skills and the flexibility to help in the front office. Shifts include 40 hours Monday-Friday with every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 8 AM to 4 PM. If you work a weekend, you will get a day off during the week to compensate. The environment includes exposure to a high volume of diverse patient cases daily.
