Job Title: Instrument Troubleshooting and Repair SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Troubleshooting and Repair Specialist to manage and maintain analytical and microbiological instruments within a GMP lab environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and asset management of various lab instruments.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair analytical and microbiological instruments including Biosafety Cabinet, Laminar hood, Shimadzu HPLC systems, GC systems, KF titrator, Metrohm & Mettler auto titration, dissolution apparatus, stability chambers, TOC analyzer, ICP-MS, auto digestion CEM & Anton-Paar, and other QC related instruments and equipment.
Manage instrument assets and their life cycles.
Inform QC management about downtime of any lab instrument.
Act as the point of contact for all instrument operation and troubleshooting activities.
Coordinate with outside lab instrument manufacturers and service providers for repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Write deviation reports for any planned or unplanned failure of lab instruments or equipment.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in metrology, calibration, and chemistry.
Strong troubleshooting skills with at least 5 years of experience in handling HPLC and GC equipment.
Basic metrology techniques.
5 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical, or CDMO GMP environment.

Work Environment
The position operates within a GMP lab environment, handling various high-precision instruments and equipment. The role involves coordinating with external service providers and manufacturers to ensure the optimal performance of lab instruments.
