We are currently seeking a Landfill Waste Sales Associate to support sales at our Dry Creek Landfill site in Medford OR. This person will develop and maintain relationships with client accounts focusing on customer satisfaction, quality of revenue and selling within customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience selling waste disposal services or related industry and has a proven technical aptitude for environmental/landfill sales.

Responsibilities

· Identify, target and sell waste disposal and collection services to industrial accounts· Develop and maintain business relationships with customers through periodic personal follow up, proactive customer service, prompt attention and resolution to concerns or issues and timely contract updates.

· Provide consultative services to both new and existing customers in the areas of special waste disposal services.

· Participate in the development of Disposal Agreements / Contracts in coordination with company Legal Counsel.

· Participate fully in all financial forecasting, close, and budgeting.

· Increase revenue potential through selling additional services such as compost sales; improve and preserve quality of revenue through price initiatives to existing customers.

· Keep up with all federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations regarding special waste disposal and landfills.

· Work with the Special Waste Sales Manager in formulating, developing and implementing market strategies, business goals and sales targets.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in related business or technical field is preferred(biology/environmental studies/chemistry)

· 2-3 or more years’ sales and account management experience.

· 2-3 or more years experience selling to large accounts or complex contracts.

· Waste, environmental, and/or analytical background experience preferred.

· Able to prepare business and/or sales reports and correspondence.

· Able to analyze and interpret business documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

· Able to effectively present to groups of customers or employees of organizations.

Salary: $65,000 - $120,000 Annually
