The General Laborer position will have varying duties on a day-to-day basis in support of retaining wall construction. They will be responsible for manual labor tasks, site maintenance, and general support operations at our work sites. The General Laborer will report directly to the Crew Foreman and/or Superintendent.
General Responsibilities:
- Install retaining wall blocks and other earth retention systems
- Operate small machinery/equipment in support of operations
- Perform shoveling and raking of aggregate materials
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks
- Maintain overall site cleanliness
- Commit to team productivity and high-quality work product for our clients
- Prioritize safety for yourself and team members at all times
- Learn company systems and standard processes quickly
