Gopher Resource LLC Seasonal Part-Time Recycling Zone Workers - $34.72/hr - 30 hrs with Benefits! in Eagan, Minnesota
Description Position Overview: Our Recycling Zone Workers work a part-time schedule and support the operations of our hazardous household waste & recycling center by performing a variety of light-industrial activities while taking care of customers. Responsibilities: * Assist in unloading items from individual vehicles into carts & dumpsters * Answer questions from customers * Unload carts and perform basic identification/sorting tasks * Maintain proper housekeeping * Open used oil containers and dump into drain tub * Move full 55-gallon drums of paints/solvents around using hand cart * Consistently follow work instructions and operating procedures * Periodically operate forklift * Occasionally stack tires in the storage cage Benefits: * Benefits-eligible if working at least 30 hours a week * 401k Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED required * Customer centricity to internal and external customers * Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills * Multi-tasking skills, prioritization skills, and strong sense of urgency * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and change priorities as needed, allowing for optimum effectiveness * Highly self-motivated and directed; ability to work independently and work well under pressure, handle multiple disciplines concurrently, attend to details, and meet deadlines under limited direction GRERP Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
