Thomson Reuters Holdings Inc. Estimator -- Manufacturing Client Services in Eagan, Minnesota
We are hiringan Estimator in our Manufacturing Client Services department that supports our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. For this role, you would also be eligible for a $1,500 signing bonus upon being in the role for 90 days. Hours of Work - Eagan, Minnesota 1st Shift hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend support. About the Role: In this opportunity as an Estimator, you will be responsible for: Identifies materials and process requirements based off customer specifications Compute production costs and supply completed estimates to Business Development and Commercial Print Account Manager teams. Participate in multi-departmental non-standard meetings to obtain additional information and recommend alternatives for customer estimates Communicate with Sourcing Team for material and services requests Work with production supervisors as needed to answer technical questions regarding projects Update customer estimates as needed based on new customer information. Produce accurate estimates using company systems Develops/collects product specifications from SAP ERP system for estimation validations Participate in collaborative culture to streamline processes and standardize when possible Proactively build relationships with internal and external customers to provide backup support to Account Managers Lead tours of the manufacturing facility and train other guides when needed Supports other production needs upon request (e.g., flex labor needs) Recommends and takes ownership for process improvements Perform other duties as assigned About You: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Print knowledge and print estimation experience in a related field. Knowledge of offset and digital print material requirements planning for a broad group of products is a plus Proficient in Microsoft applications Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, communication and logic skills are required Proficiency in SAP and Manufacturing Estimation systems preferred. Experience with EPS iQuote a plus. Desire to learn new techniques and software system.
