Business Integration Analyst - EDI/Integrations - Hybrid Innova Solutions has immediate need for a Business Integration Analyst to work on a large cloud-based integration platform as a service (iPaaS) implementation: - This job is remote but candidates who are local to Eagan Minnesota and can come in the office when/if needed are highly preferred. - Ideal candidates will have iPaaS project integration experience preferably with Boomi into existing ERP or order management systems - Candidates with EDI and/or file based integration experience are required. - Job is slated to be a 6 month contract to hire, candidates MUST be willing/able to convert to FTE W2. Description: - The primary focus of the Senior Business Analyst position is to align and prioritize business requirements with ongoing development efforts within the Enterprise Data Services team. - These deliverables, centered around secure APIs, messaging, and file-based integrations, will provide measurable efficiencies and possible re-use for the surrounding enterprise. - As a Business Analyst you will grasp and comprehend complex technical scenarios and determine how to align with the company's overall long-term strategic plans. - Continually work to improve process, adhere to communicated deadlines and socialize development best practices. - Additionally, you should enjoy building and maintaining business relationships and will document and diagram high-level solutions and advocate for Agile practices and principles. Job Duties: • Work to align internal organizational requirements with those of the external customers and/or vendors. • Understand company's long-term strategic goals and how to achieve them effectively. • Thoroughly document development process to achieve a repeatable, efficient process that non-technical resources can adopt. • Facilitate training and user support during and after implementation. • Provide ongoing support and subject-matter expertise for Enterprise Data Services. • Conduct source-to-target mappings for APIs and file-based integrations. • Work closely between business stakeholders, developers, and quality assurance teams. • Prepare diagrams and specific business requirement documentation. • Align development efforts with overarching business needs. • Manage relationships appropriately with timely project updates. • Participate and conduct project meetings, presentations, and capture meeting minutes. • Document business requirements with both diagrams and documentation. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency throughout the entire enterprise. • Communicate difficult and complex scenarios in an easily perceived manner. • Participate in every stage of the SDLC; specifically, requirements analysis, design, development, UAT signoff, release planning, go-live, and support. • Lead refinement, grooming, planning, demonstrations, forecasting, and retrospectives. • Decompose complex user stories into tasks deliverable within a sprint. • Per requirements, understand and communicate acceptance criteria along with test scenarios. • Understand common enterprise architecture patterns and development best practices. • Ability to understand and comprehend multiple APIs, integrations, and the implications of certain architecture decisions. Required Skills: • Strong Agile experience. The ability to explain how methodology will improve product delivery. • Pragmatic, real-world approach to application design and development. • Build ongoing relationships with internal and external collaborators. • Self-motivated; independent worker, strong desire to learn, adaptable to a fast paced, ever-changing environment. • Develop and decompose user stories and define acceptance criteria and test scenarios. • Experience with Cloud-based technologies understand why hybrid architecture is often needed. • Proactively work with business stakeholders to groom and prioritize backlog. • Ability to socialize Agile practice and prin iple throughout entire enterprise. • A thorough technical understanding of APIs, file-based integrations, and EDI. • Knowledge of message-based implementations and their use cases. • Understand the difference and implication of System (SAPI), Process (PAPI), and Experience (XAPI) APIs and what scenarios to implement. Education / Experience: • Master of Computer Science / Information Technology (Preferred) • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience • 5+ Years proven Agile Methodology Experience • 5+ Years Business Analyst, Project Management, API, EDI, file based integration experience.
