Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and overhauling avionic equipment and other units that the Repair Station is rated for. Applies knowledge of avionic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment operation. Responsible for assisting with troubleshooting and repairs. Troubleshoots and repairs avionic equipment and other units to the component level. Maintains company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment. Assists and trains other technicians in repairing units. Monitors condition of repair shop ground support equipment and advises management of any needed upgrades or repairs.
Responsibilities
Inspect, repair, and overhaul avionic equipment and other units.
Determine equipment malfunctions using avionic principles.
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair avionic equipment and other units to the component level.
Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records.
Assist and train other technicians in repairing units.
Monitor the condition of repair shop ground support equipment and advise management of any needed upgrades or repairs.
Essential Skills
Component Level Avionics experience
Military experience
Electrical experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
FCC certification (Nice to Have)
A&P certification (Nice to Have)

Work Environment
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Working 40 hours per week currently. Work in a clean and temperature-controlled shop environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Eagan, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $75000.00
