Cree Manufacturing Process Technician (Epi) in Durham, North Carolina

Here’s the Gist:

As a Epi Department Process Technician you will be responsible for supporting sustaining actions such as tool calibrations and reviewing non-conforming material.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain tool recipes to control process output. 
  • Handle dispositions of non-conforming material. 
  • Perform special processing of material as requested by Engineering
  • Monitor SPC charts for key metrics such as yields, cycle time and utilization
  • Attain 100% certification on all processes in the department. 
  • Ensure that all EH&S safety policies are followed.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Have a positive, professional, energetic, can-do attitude
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to walk or stand majority of a shift.
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts (7am -7pm or 7pm-7am) with a “2 on-2 off-3 on” rotating schedule.

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
