JOB OVERVIEW:

CareGivers is looking for an outstanding, career-minded Personal Care Aide, HHA, or CNA to join ourDesignated Aide Team. In this position, you would be exclusively working Chautauqua County OFA casework in your territory – primarily Dunkirk & Fredonia, but some cases may be in the Brocton area. You would be guaranteed18 hours a week, those hours would be weekday daytime hours (between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm), we would work with you to get a schedule that fits your availability.

Areliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position – this is not optional.You will be visiting multiple clients – 2 to 3 hours per client – and you may need to run errands or do shopping for some clients. You will be paid for travel time between clients which is included in your 18 hours/week. You will also be paid mileage in between clients, and for any errands or shopping you do for clients.

Position:Personal Care Aide – must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNAAvailable Territory: Fredonia/Dunkirk/Brocton NY areaShifts:Guaranteed* 18 hours/week, weekday daytime hours (additional casework is available if more hours are needed, but they would not be guaranteed)

Enhanced rates offered for this position,$19.00 – $19.50 / hour(depending on experience & reliability). We are looking for someone who isreliable, punctual, dedicated, and compassionate– these are essential traits for this position.

*If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.

**If loss of hours is due to staff missing or being late for a scheduled shift, the 18 hour a week guarantee would not apply

JOB DUTIES:Responsible for providing personal care and supportive services which may include (but are not limited to) assisting the client in activities of daily living, providing light housekeeping services to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client, and making sure they follow their medication schedule.

• Must be a certified PCA*, HHA, or CNA

• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class

• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs – ask us how!

• If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!

• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license* required – you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional.(*clean – no major violations)
