We are seeking a Utility Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, GA! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Complete Utility Impact Analysis (UIA) for roadway projects and determine feasible utility conflict resolution
Complete Utility Cost Estimates for roadway projects
Develop and coordinate utility agreements (UA's) and memorandum of understandings (MOU's) between client and utility companies
Develop and maintain accurate and thorough utility documentation for utility coordination projects
Coordinate with utility companies to obtain utility information (including utility as built, prior rights, encroachment permits, standards and specification, betterment, etc.)
Assist the utility coordination practice team manager with project management however this is not the main focus of the position
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on utility coordination activities
Assist with preparing fee and scope estimates

Requirements
Minimum requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Strong Decision making skills
Familiarity with GUPS, GDOT EDG and PPG
Strong oral, written and inter-personal communication skills
Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
Pass a pre-employment drug test
Pass a pre-employment background check
Ambitious and willing to learn
2 or more years of Utility Coordination experience required
Technical requirements:
Strong working knowledge of UAM and utility coordination process
Strong working knowledge of 1st and 2nd utility submissions
Working knowledge of prior rights, UPRN letters, MOUs and UA's, deconfliction, utility relocation costs
Strong skillset in Bentley Openroads and Inroads software
Strong skillset in Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
Strong skillset in Microsoft office including Excel
Other miscellaneous qualities:
Ability to travel to project sites, client offices in the southeast
Ability to hand multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to positively communicate with peers and clients
Ability to work overtime
Work in a safe manner in accordance with company safety policies.
