WEG Electric Corp. has an excellent opportunity for an Quality Inspector II. You will beresponsible for line inspections and pre-test activities of assembled small A line packages - catalog - and simple custom panels, such as modifications to catalog panels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute line inspections and pre-test activities to control panels with lower complexity such as small A line packages - catalog - and simple custom panels, such as modifications to catalog panels.

  • Operate measurement equipment to support the execution of line inspections and pre-test activities to control panels under scope.

  • Verify (under supervision) components, layout, labels, enclosure characteristics and wiring, within scope.

  • Perform (under supervision) the inspections and pre-test activities described in inspection plans and record them in SAP.

  • Follow safety procedures related to activity and equipment used.

  • Record nonconformities in appropriate forms and/or system and prompt production rework if needed.

Education:

  • High School or GED.

Knowledge / training:

  • Instruments and equipment used in line inspections and pre-test activities of panels under scope (required).

  • Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (required).

  • Basic knowledge of related WEG's processes and procedures (required).

  • Basic understanding of functionality of basic WEG / Automation components such as contactors, relays, CB, switches, indicator lights.

  • Good knowledge of SAP.

Experience:

  • 2+ years
